Lee Wickham, BSc (Hons), PG D, LLM (can), DC, FRCC
Lee Wickham a Registered Chiropractor with the General Chiropractic Council graduated from the inaugural class of the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of South Wales in 2001 and obtained his D.C. and C.C.E.P. chiropractic qualifications the following year. Lee learnt phlebotomy at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, has studied visceral adjustments from Chiropractic and Osteopathic teachers and bases his Chiropractic Cranial technique upon Sacro-Occipital teachings. Lee has studied Dry Needling to the standard of the British Medical Acupuncture Society and has been a General Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractors since 2008.
In addition to body aches, sore muscles and painful joints, Lee is interested in Fascia, Whiplash traumas, Medically Unexplained Symptoms and Birth traumas.
Lee trained in Buteyko Breathing at Salisbury Hospital as part of learning the skills necessary to deliver a mind body randomised case-controlled pilot study combining Psychotherapy and Chiropractic Care for patients with medically unexplained symptoms and step four asthma.
Postgraduate M-level studies include Public Health Nutrition at Southampton Medical School, Clinical Governance at The University of South Wales and Medical Law and Ethics at Cardiff Law School.
Lee has an interest in supplement use attending various BANT recognised seminars over the years as a Cyrex registered Chiropractor for Gluten, Autoimmune and Lyme’s Disease Laboratory Analyses. He qualified as a Qi Gong practitioner from the London School of Oriental Medicine and Traditional Acupuncture and found the ancient Chinese exercise material melded well with his Gym Instructors Certificate (Personal Training) as did his 3.5 months of Yoga study in 2016.
